Do you want to help deliver responsive care to people in their own homes in Newton Abbot, Teignmouth, Dawlish, Totnes, Dartmouth, Plymouth and surrounding areas?
We are looking for Carers to support the Urgent Community Response Care Service (UCR). This 7-days a week service helps to prevent delayed transfers of care from hospitals, meet the increasing need for care in the community, and avoid unnecessary admissions by providing rapid care and support which promotes independence and enables clients to live as independently as possible in their own homes with the right support.
Carers will be paid by shift, shift patterns are 7am to 3pm and 3pm to 10pm .
Full training including specialist re-enablement training to support the needs of the clients is provided so no previous experience is required.
There are quite probably older, more vulnerable people living in your street. People who, with the right help, can still live safely and comfortably in their own homes.
Staying at home is probably the one thing they want most and it’s what our carers provide – by visiting them once or maybe several times a day.
But more than this, our Carers become friends, providing human company, encouragement and maybe a laugh or two, often when life has become a bit tough.
It’s fair to say, there are sad times. We’ve been to a few funerals, visited a few hospitals. Caring’s not always easy, but a lot of families will be grateful that you did.
If that sounds like your kind of job, then you’re our kind of person.
We’re stronger together.
Cera’s not just about serving the community. It’s about being one. You’ll be working with people like you, who’ll be there through the good times and the challenging!
On joining us you’ll train for the industry-recognised Care Certificate, and you’ll shadow experienced colleagues while you learn the ropes.
Then there are branch teams and care specialists you can call on with concerns. And our technology, which will let you concentrate on care, instead of paperwork.
We’ll applaud your hard work with attractive pay rates and staff benefits. And there are
genuine promotion prospects, to team leader, care specialist or on into management.
